The Round Robin Session On 10th of July, we had a difference experience as usual, in the GNCT session. We were divided in to 4 groups and we were asked to close our eyes. one member from each group should write a word in the white board so as to form a meaningful story. At the end of the session we had 4 stories from each group and all the stories were so funny that, some stories didn't have any meaning at all.  We learned how to act according to a given situation and this helped us in developing our creativity skills.           Emerging Technology Trends The 3rd of July was an important day for all the Software Engineering students of University of Kaleniya, as Mr.Srinath Perera from WSO2 visited here. He was here to educate us on the emerging technology trends and the session started at 10.00 am and ended at 12.00 pm. This valuable session was organized by our GNCT lecturer, Mrs. Sarasi Senadheera. All the 4 years' got the chance to participate in the session.  From the beginning up to the end, the session was so interesting, as the subject area discussed was mainly connected with our career. We learned so many things, which I am sure we wouldn't have learn them somewhere else.         The Expert Game On 27th of  June, as usual we got the chance to face a new kind of experience, and this time it was the ''Expert Game". We were divided in to 5 groups and my group consisted of; 1.Kavindu 2.Udith 3.Sandali 4.Praghash Raj 5.Anjana 6.Sachindra 7.Minsah 8.Naveen The main purpose of this game was to identify the talents of all the group members and come up with a product or service which can be delivered to the customers, by combining all of our strengths. After discussing and pooling all of our talents in to a sheet of paper we decided to start an Art Academy as almost everyone in the group were having some talent in aesthetic side. For an example, Kavindu was good at drumming, Udith was good at playing Guitar, Sadali was good at playing the flute, Sachindra was famous for playing the organ, Anjana was good at violin, Minsah and Praghashraj were assigned as drama teachers.                      The  BINGO Game On 5th of June we had this interesting game called "Bingo". It was our first time doing this game and it was a novel experience for all of us. We were given a p;ice of paper consisting of 25 general questions and we had to ask those questions from our friends. Then we had to mark the names of the people who gave positive answers for the question. The criteria for choosing the winner was, the person who completes the chart with friends names who gave positive answers, in the same horizontal line, same vertical line, the diagonal or around the rectangles around the center box. We also had to complete the task within a very short period of time, despite there was very hard questions like someone being the head prefect in the school, traveled overseas, etc...   The Paper Tower & The Helium Stick  We got an awesome challenge on 13th of June 2018, by Mrs. Sarasi Senadheera, our lecturer for the subject GNCT. The task was to make a stable paper tower with a maximum height. The challenge was, we had to complete the task with a minimum number of resources and within a limited time. Before beginning the challenge we were divided in to 3 groups in which my group consisted of 12 members, including 2 girls and 10 boys. We were given 2 white papers, 4 color papers and a sellotape to commence the work. At first no one had a single clue what to do. Then all of us discussed and came up with a plan and we made a sketch on a piece of paper. Our main intention was to make the base stronger,so that it won't fall. All the members in the group were supporting the course and it wasn't very hard to complete the task within the given time. The girls were decorating the tower while others were cutting, rolling and pasting the papers....
